How To Help

Donations - Give to Lincoln

Disability Rights Nebraska is a nonprofit organization that advocates alongside people with disabilities. We envision a world where human rights are protected and differences celebrated, where the perception of disability is replaced by the recognition of ability, where all people have value, visibility, and voice.

We are independent of any public or private service provider and have the authority to protect and advocate for the rights of Nebraskans with disabilities. We do this through:

  • legal advice and representation,
  • public policy advocacy,
  • systems change,
  • relationship-based advocacy (Citizen Advocacy),
  • self-advocacy skill development, and
  • volunteer advocate training for inclusive education.

Though we are a statewide organization, our home base is in Lincoln, and Lincoln is where most of our systemic and policy work happens.

Donation through May 1 - May 24 can be made through the Give to Lincoln page.
