The Federal Agencies Partnership Council invites you to attend a safetyNETworking event on Monday, August 22nd at the Thompson Center in Omaha, NE. safetyNETworking is a free educational event for providers, faith-based groups, health, social services and community-based organizations. This event will provide you an opportunity to:

  • learn about Federal programs and benefits available to your clients,

  • meet the people who directly administer these programs, and

  • network with other organizations/agencies who might also interact with your clients.

Representatives from participating Federal agencies will conduct breakout sessions on programs for low to moderate income individuals and families and will host exhibits to share important publications and resources with you. Federal agencies participating in this event include:

  • U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (Administration for Children & Families; Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services; Health Resources and Services Administration; Administration on Aging; Office for Civil Rights)

  • U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development

  • Social Security Administration

  • Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)

  • Internal Revenue Service (IRS)

  • U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

  • Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)

  • And few others.
