LB 1217 - High Priority
Starting at 1:30 PM on Monday, February 10, the Education Committee of the Nebraska Legislature will hear testimony on 4 bills, including LB 1217, which was proposed to "Require individualized response plans following a report of certain types of incidents involving students."
The bill, proposed by Sen. Wayne, is on Disability Rights Nebraska's list of "high priority" bills for this legislative session, and Public Policy Director, Brad Meurrens, will testify in support of LB 1217 at the hearing.
