LB 1208 - High Priority
Starting at 1:30 PM on February 12, the Judiciary Committee of the Nebraska Legislature will hear testimony on 6 bills, including LB 1208, which was proposed to "Change provisions relating to restrictive housing, immediate segregation, discipline, and other conditions of confinement."
The bill, proposed by Sen. Vargas, is on Disability Rights Nebraska's list of "high priority" bills for this legislative session, and Public Policy Director, Brad Meurrens, will testify in support of LB 1208 at the hearing.
