LB 1204 - High Priority
Starting at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, February 19, the Health and Human Services Committee of the Nebraska Legislature will hear testimony on 4 bills, including LB 1204, which was proposed to "Require a family support waiver under the Medical Assistance Act and provide for a pilot family support program under the Disabled Persons and Family Support Act."
The bill, proposed by Sen. Cavanaugh, is on Disability Rights Nebraska's list of "high priority" bills for this legislative session, and Public Policy Director, Brad Meurrens, will testify in support of LB 1204 at the hearing.
