Several disability rights organizations in Nebraska are coming together for a virtual celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act!

The event will include five days of videos and speakers on July 20th through July 24th. Each day from 2:00-3:30 PM (Central Time), we'll hear from disability advocates on a different topic. Topics include community inclusion, education, employment, intersectionality, and assumptions & myths. Real-time captioning will be available all five days.

Organizations include: People First of Nebraska, Munroe-Meyer Institute, Brain Injury Alliance of Nebraska, Nebraska Family Support Network, Nebraska Council on Developmental Disabilities, The Arc of Nebraska, Nebraska Statewide Independent Living Council, Nebraska Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, League of Human Dignity, and Independence Rising.
