Nebraska Disability Advocates are hosting a free webinar titled "Housing: Your Rights, Responsibilities, & Remedies." The presentation will feature speakers from the Mental Health Association of Nebraska, the Lincoln Commission on Human Rights and the Tenant Assistance Project, and The Fair Housing Center of Nebraska and Iowa. Disability Education Series presentations take place on the first Thursday of every month from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM CST. The series is hosted by a coalition of disability rights organizations in Nebraska, including: Disability Rights Nebraska; Brain Injury Alliance of Nebraska; Outlook Enrichment; Assistive Technology Partnership; Independence Rising; People First Nebraska; PTI Nebraska; Nebraska Statewide Independent Living Council; University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities/Munroe-Meyer Institute; Nebraska Council on Developmental Disabilities; League of Human Dignity; The Arc or Nebraska; Harper Self-Directed Services; Easterseals Nebraska; Madona School & Community-Based Services; APSE; Nebraska VR; ADAPT-Nebraska; Integrative Transitions; and Nebraska Family Support Network.
