At Disability Rights Nebraska, we believe in the power of inclusion and the importance of centering people with disabilities in all aspects of our work. As part of our 2024–2028 Strategic Plan, we’ve identified three key focus areas:
- Freedom from Harm
- Most Inclusive Settings
- Engaging People with Disabilities in Advocacy
These priorities guide our efforts as we protect and advocate for the rights of Nebraskans with disabilities. But we can’t do this work alone.
We’re inviting individuals with disabilities, family members, advocates, professionals, and community members to provide feedback on our proposed focus areas for Fiscal Year 2026. Your perspective helps ensure our goals reflect the real needs and aspirations of the people we serve.
