Disability Rights Nebraska and the Nebraska Values-Based Education Coalition present the 2019 Social Role Valorization Workshop featuring Darcy Elks. This workshop is designed to help participants reflect on devaluation and how it affects the lives of those at risk, learn about the concept of Social Role Valorization, examine personal values and commitments to those who are devalued, and renew passionate commitment to marginalized individuals. The Social Role Valorization Workshop's primary presenter is Darcy Elks, M.A., who has years of experience working with individuals who have been devalued.

Anyone with a serious desire to better understand the dynamics and consequences of societal devaluation and a desire to work to improve the lives of such people would benefit from attending the Social Role Valorization Workshop.
